Ben and Lukas is an independent inquiry into the relationship of humans and stray animals through observation and participation in communities in Metro Manila, Philippines. It was started by an individual who started documenting stories of how she made friends with a few stray cats and dogs from 2016-2020. The site hopes to engage people in discussing issues surrounding the perception and relations with stray animals, a common societal problem in the Philippines, and share information about TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccine-return).
